The 2021 edition of Art Basel in Basel will take place at Messe Basel from September 23–26, with preview days on September 21 and 22.
Our booth focuses on a number of gallery artists including Anthony Caro, David Hockney, Tadsahi Kawamata, David Nash, Nigel Hall, Suzanne Treister and Yuko Shiraishi, amongst others. Also displayed will be a curated section of historical works including those by Naum Gabo, Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart and Alexander Rodchenko. We will also show the work of Korean artist Kwon Young-Woo, whose work will be shown at our gallery in 2022.
In addition to our booth, we will present a major presentation of Tadashi Kawamata's Destruction works at Art Basel Unlimited, in collaboration with Kamel Mennour Gallery. These four large-scale works made from reclaimed wood blur the boundaries between painting and sculpture, often protruding 20-30cm from the wall in undulating irregularity and display Kawamata's fascination with the fragility of the built environment.
We will also take part in Art Basel's online viewing rooms, which will be visible during the fair's opening week.
