The exhibition will feature an installation offering a condensed version of Shiraishi’s sensibility and consisting of new works tailored to the environment of the N&A Art SITE. The title “Magnetic Day” is suggestive of radio waves and magnetism that stimulate our senses, which the artist seeks to express poetically through paintings, sculptures, and the entirety of the space. The exhibition will make for an opportunity to reintroduce the perspective of Shiraishi, whose international career has spanned decades, to a Japan-based audience.
