‘For more than half a century, London-based gallery Annely Juda Fine Art has enthusiastically introduced the works by avant-garde artists of the early twentieth century as well as the artists of today. With the generous cooperation of Mr. David Juda, this exhibition features rare books by avant-garde artists, relating to Russian Constructivism, Dada, Surrealism, and Bauhaus, which the gallery has collected since its opening. The exhibition will also include more than 200 exhibition catalogues published by Annely Juda Fine Art.’
A talk on "Avant-garde and Typography" will be held in conjunction with the exhibition on Saturday 4 November from 13.30 – 15.30. Prominent scholars will talk about the expressions and techniques found in books produced by avant-garde artists mainly in Europe at the beginning of the 20th century.
